I am writing this letter to express just how much one man can change lives. My wife of 43 years was a patient of Doctor Schulte. She had first come to Doctor Schulte for problems adjusting to the profound loss of hearing due to a medical procedure. Doctor Schulte was a wonderful Doctor and person. Over time, she became a changed person. The extreme frustration and anger slowly disappeared and it was like a second honeymoon for the two of us. Years later, I became a confused, demanding, and lost individual who thought all the answers to my problems were sexual. I was so focused, I very nearly destroyed my marriage and the woman I very much loved. In desperation, my wife went to see Doctor Schulte for help. At best, my wife was maintaining, but I was worsening in my demands. Then, one afternoon, I received a call from Doctor Schulte. He described the terrible toll my actions were taking on my wife and that I needed to change, and fast. I went to see Doctor Schulte who proceeded to ask me the hard questions about why I was doing the things I was doing that hurt my wife so much. I was given a dose of reality and I was truly appalled at myself. With the combination of a small amount of medicine and additional meetings with Doctor Schulte, I was able to turn my life completely around. For the last six years, I have lived the dream marriage. My wife and I are so much in love and are as happy as when we first married. Talk about an endless honeymoon. The hardships are behind us and the experiences and resolutions have bonded us very tightly together. Now and then I look back to that phone call from Doctor Schulte and the follow-up tough love sessions with Doctor Schulte, and I am thankful beyond words. In a world of frustration and faded dreams, my wife and I are a success story. And one skilled and caring man, Doctor Schulte, made our success possible. I am forever grateful.  We are forever grateful.

I was going through a dark valley and trying to go it alone, when I found Dr. Schulte. His wisdom, knowledge and God given gifts, helped me find the light.

Dr. Schulte never gives up. My Journey wasn’t easy but with a safe place for me to be open and honest, I found healing. He also gave me tools to keep me from entering that dark valley again.

He and his staff’s compassionate care went beyond the normal and they always go the extra mile.

I will be forever grateful to this amazing doctor. Everyday is a gift, don’t do it alone!

I want to convey to you the importance of what you do. During my recent journey, you were a big part of me keeping it together. During the darkest hours, the desperate times, I would think of your face, your words and it gave me the strength to survive what was happening in my life. Honestly, it worked that way. I grow stronger as the days go by and hopefully soon will have the sparkle in my eyes again. Thank you for seeing me through certainly the toughest struggle of my life. And I must add that you’ve helped me believe in myself again. So THANK YOU!!

This is a good time to share the blessings in my life, which most definitely includes you. I realize today that I had to take the action, but without your encouragement and support, & also believing in me, I would have never gotten to the action stage. You have changed my life immensely, and I will be ever grateful for that. Thank you so much!

I have been battling depression off and on for many years and, the past few years, it got considerably worse. Last summer I was ready to try something extreme to feel better. I asked my doctor about taking a leave of absence at work and about ECT. He didn’t believe I was a candidate for either treatment, but I needed to do something because I had been through three therapists in 4 years and had tried countless medications and combinations of medications without relief. Last summer, I received TMS on a daily basis for a period of almost two months. I was reluctant and skeptical at first since I hadn’t heard of the treatment before another of my therapists suggested it. I am very excited by the results of the treatment. I could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. Schulte and his team made me feel at ease and I feel as though great care was taken with me each visit. The treatment didn’t hurt; in fact, I often dozed during treatment. On other occasions, Dr. Schulte’s assistants would chat with me throughout the session to help pass the time. I only wish I had come across this treatment sooner because it, along with my current course of medication, finally did the trick. I would recommend this treatment to others facing the same issues.

I was severely depressed over a period of three years. I tried several antidepressants but nothing really seemed to work. I had a severe allergic reaction. My family was very poorly impacted by the whole problem of my depression. By the end of the TMS treatment, things were better than I could have imagined. After that six week, I was so excited that my life was starting to resume. It could actually get better and that I had more to look forward to.

I have learned in life that sometimes God sends you angels, these people not only come into my life, but help me to learn, don’t give up on me through the tough times, and give me hope that yes you can do this. I am so grateful that Dr. Schulte is one of the angels that God put into my life. He knew exactly what he was doing. And you know what? Miracles do happen!

Dr. Schulte, Just wanted to drop you a quick thank-you note for all that you have done for me over the years. It is not an overstatement to say that I believe you have saved me on more than one occasion. I’m still working on completely “turning the corner,” but with your help I truly believe I am making progress.  I appreciate your kindness, empathy, and advice. I can tell that you genuinely care about your patients. I thought it was important for you to know that you have made a big difference in my life. Thank you for all that you and your team do! I’ve lived with ten months of depression following my heart attack. Medications prescribed by my internist didn’t help. In fact they made my condition worse. But my internist directed me to Dr. Shulte who was able to correctly diagnose what was wrong. And after nearly giving up hope I could ever be depression free again with Dr. Shutle’s help, I was depression free and I got my life back. My family and friends are ever so grateful as am I. It’s hard for me to express in words how grateful I am to have you in my life. I remember when I first started seeing you; you told me that I needed to be completely honest with my feelings for you to be able to help me. I had not been honest about my feelings with anybody in my life before. Because of your graceful way of helping me, I was able to share honestly with you. It was only due to your complete acceptace of me as a person that this could happen. My life has changed so much since I started seeing you. I lived my life in a very dark place for a long time. Because of you, today I can feel joy, see the beauty around me, and have peace in my life. That, my dear doctor, is amazing!

Dear Doc, If every doctor strives to be as caring and generous as you, the world would be filled with smiles and laughter instead of pain and sorrow… I walked into your practice an ordinary patient of ordinary means but you and Nancy took care of us as if I was the most important person on earth. It’s not the medication talking either! Your reassuring words gave us strength to pull through our sorrows. Thanks doc!

Over the years, I have worked with other psychiatrists, and tried a variety of treatment options with little to no success. Fortunately, another doctor recommended Dr. Schulte. Prior to my first visit, I did some research and learned that he has been recognized as a top doctor in his field numerous times. I also learned that he has had an extensive and accomplished career providing care to people battling mental health related issues. From my very first appointment with Dr. Schulte, I have continued to be thoroughly impressed with his expertise, compassion, and commitment to helping people.
